This car known currently as the Old Number Oner debuted as a factory race car in May 1929 for the first ever Brooklands Double Twelve, but the
bodywork was changed by the factory on the October of that year to a fishtail design and continued racing in this format.
This marvellous recreation is built on the strong foundation of the Bentley Mark 6 chassis utilizing a B series 8 cylinder in-line engine.
The coachwork is a fishtail aluminium body on an ash/tubular steel framework.
The interior is finished in leather with an aluminium dashboard populated with recreated period instruments.
Very easy to drive, the Bentley Special No.1 has proved itself as a perfect car for participating in rallies across the world !
